    The principal statue, Sho Kannon, was originally enshrined at the Zao Gongen Shrine on the summit of Mt. Buko, and was later moved to Ogino-do Hall. After the hall burned down and could not be rebuilt, the statue was brought to this temple in 1760. The temple\u2019s Main Hall burned in 1877 and was rebuilt around 1908. After major restoration work, it has been preserved to the present day.
    The temple treasure Yamamba\u2019s Tooth is said to be one of three teeth offered by a mountain witch\u2014a yamamba\u2014in gratitude for being saved by a respected monk, as a vow to never oppose the gods or Buddhas.<\/p>\n
